Suggested “Trick-or-Treat” for Tuesday versus Wednesday because of Bad Weather

Greetings, Friends and Neighbors of Crossgate!

I hope this email finds you well!

I want to extend a personal ‘Thank You’ once again to Megan Dohn and the neighbors who helped create such a wonderful Halloween Bash and Chili Cook Off a week ago Saturday, the 20th. It was a blast! Pictures from the event will be posted on a ‘Closed Access Page’ shortly.

Regarding Halloween-proper, several of our residents asked if the City of Crossgate was moving the “Trick or Treat”-ing associated with Halloween from Wednesday to Tuesday due to the impending rainy weather.

We, as a Commission, are encouraging our neighborhood to celebrate the ’Trick or Treating’ to happen tomorrow night – Tuesday – versus Wednesday night during the rain and bad weather.

Again, we are suggesting passing out Candy on TUESDAY versus WEDNESDAY due to the pending inclement weather.

The cities of Northfield and Graymoor Devondale are following suit and encouraging their residents to pass out candy on Tuesday as well.

Please circulate this information among each other. 

Also note that there may be ’Trick or Treaters’ on Wednesday who are NOT in the neighborhood who celebrate Halloween on the 31st.
